It all began with a 1947 Chrysler Windsor Convertible...
Started as a 1947 Chrysler Windsor
Wood frames were fashions from Ash and Mahogany grain applied to the panels

Original finished Town & Countryreplica with real wood frames and woodgrained panels
But then the car was left out in an unexpected rain storm on the Central California coast.
Cracks and gaps everywhere in the wood frames
Rain damage to the wood.
Sanded down to bare wood
After sanding, sealed with epoxy 2 part clear primer from Abatron - wood restoration specialists
Filled with WoodEpox from Abatron
Lots of filler
Then skimmed with Bondo and fill primer where needed
Base paint for Birds Eye Maple grain
Birds Eye Maple grain applied
Graining the trunk pieces
Detail work of blending by hand
Finally it is all clear coated, cut and buffed
